What services do you offer?
I live to entertain. My standard services include Master of Ceremonies (MC/Emcee), Event Hosting and Funeral Celebrancy - each with it's own tone and scope. Outside of these, lets chat and see what fits.
Where am I based and do I travel?
I am based in South West Melbourne and available Melbourne-wide.
I am open to travel and a travel fee will apply if needed.
Do I work with queer people and honour chosen families?
Yes - I specialise in working with the queer community and honour chosen family in every aspect of my practice. My work is built on lived experience, not borrowed language. I centre the queer and non-nuclear communities and welcome anyone seeking a celebrant or host who values authenticity, emotional clarity and respect.
How do bookings work?
Start by booking a discovery call. We'll discuss timelines, pricing, communication preferences. Lead time is key. For urgent enquiries email me at enquiries@kaino.au.
Can I customise your ceremony or event?
Absolutely, every aspect of the planning process is collaborative. We'll stay in close contact to ensure your event reflects and aligns with you.
What is my vibe as a host or celebrant?
I am high energy, grounded and emotionally attuned. I bring clarity, humour and presence to every stage. I reject the binary, embrace the non-traditional and lean into the off-beat. I am just as comfortable holding space at a funeral as I am hyping a crowd at a charity gala or wrangling drag queens at drag bingo.
Do I offer planning or co-ordination support?
Not at this stage. I am the on stage presence - not a behind the scenes planner.
How far in advance should I book?
It depends on the service. Funerals are typically 3-5 days unless pre-planned. MC and Event Hosting can be anywhere from the day of to 3 months out. The more involved my role the more lead time preferred. Generally 3 weeks is ideal. A 50% booking fee secures the date.
Do you offer sliding scale or flexible pricing?
Not currently. Accessibility matters to me, and i have future options in mind - check back.
What are my re-scheduling and cancellation policies?
I require a 50% booking fee to secure your date. Once paid, my prep begins - outfits, speeches, connecting with other speakers and entertainers, speaker intros and more.Re-scheduling policy
More than 48 hours out: no fee.
Within 48 hours: 25% re-scheduling fee.Cancellation Policy
More than 48 hours out 50% of deposit paid will be refunded.
